The University has a long history of partnering and working in the Gulf region, which goes far beyond traditional student recruitment activities. Over the past 15 years, we have contributed to the region’s knowledge economy by providing robust degree programmes, working with industry on collaborative projects and established significant partnership with:

• Private sector organisations, including multi-national recognised organisations

In May 2014, the University announced its ambitious plans for Abu Dhabi and the wider Gulf Corporate Countries (GCC) region, with the establishment of our representative office. This was declared under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, at an event attended by over 130 leading industry and government officials. The overall aim and function of the regional office is to act as a business development and focal point for the University’s three main activities:

• Enterprise
