Founded in 1895 and located in the picturesque Sandwell Valley just three miles from Birmingham city centre on the border of Warwickshire and Staffordshire, Handsworth is one of the Midlands premier clubs. Widely acknowledged as a hidden gem, Handsworth offers an ideal venue for individual visitors, societies and corporate golf days alike. Well maintained throughout the year and benefiting from considerable investment over the last three years the course presents the golfer with constant challenges where good shots are rewarded with birdie chances but where the errant shot can lead to double bogey or worse.

The course has fairways that are often tree lined and undulating with greens that run true and fast and the whole course is protected by more than 70 bunkers.

Stunning views of the surrounding Staffordshire horizon from the higher points on the course and the general picturesque nature of the layout ensure that the experience of playing golf at Handsworth is only enhanced further by good golf.
